About Diane Danzebrink

Diane Danzebrink is a consultant, speaker, and educator with a background in counselling and coaching and a passion for menopause and mental health and wellbeing. She has professional nurse training in menopause and is a member of the British Menopause Society.

Diane is the founder of the not-for-profit organisation Menopause Support and the national #MakeMenopauseMatter campaign. The campaign has been instrumental in ensuring that menopause has been added to the new RSE curriculum in secondary education in England and that all medical students will study menopause from 2024.

Regularly invited to comment about menopause and mental health in the media she has appeared on This MorningGood Morning BritainLoose WomenLorraineBBC BreakfastITVChannel 4, and Sky News. Diane can regularly be heard discussing menopause and mental health on the radio and has written about menopause for both the Telegraph and the Guardian newspapers. She has contributed to several books about menopause and mental health and her first book Making Menopause Matter: The Essential Guide to What You Need to Know and Why, was published in May 2024.

Diane has spoken at several conferences dedicated to all aspects of menopause for both the public and health professionals, including giving the closing keynote speech at the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) conference and hosting the menopause and mental health stage at the This Can Happen conference in London.
